Invite Keeper

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 19, 2026

The short version: Invite Keeper reads a photo of your invitation so you do not have to type it out. We use your invitation photos for one thing only, pulling out the event details so we can put them on your calendar. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and if you choose not to sign in, everything stays on your own phone.

Invite Keeper lets you photograph an invitation or a reply card, automatically reads the details such as the date, time, place, and who the event is for, adds the event to your calendar, and prepares your RSVP so it is ready to send. This policy explains exactly what that involves for your data.

What we collect

How your invitation photos are handled

When you photograph an invitation, the image is sent to our third party artificial intelligence provider for a single purpose, to read the text on the invitation and return the event details. The image is used only to extract those details. It is not used to build advertising profiles, and it is not used to train advertising systems. We do not keep a copy of the photo on our servers after the details are read. What is saved is the event information itself, not the picture.

Where your information lives

Calendar

When you add an event to your calendar, Invite Keeper creates a standard calendar entry that you add to your own calendar app. You stay in control of what goes onto your calendar and you can remove any entry from your calendar at any time.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of trusted service providers purely to run the app:

Each provider only receives what it needs to perform its task, and only when that task is happening.

Your choices and control

Information about others

Invitations naturally include the names of hosts and honorees. By photographing an invitation, you are recording details that were already shared with you on that invitation. Please only use the app for invitations you have personally received.

Children

Invite Keeper is intended for adults managing their own invitations. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Some invitations name a child as the honoree of an event, and that name is treated the same as any other event detail, used only to label the event for you.

Security

We use industry standard measures to protect your information in transit and in storage. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit who can access it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
